Reed Education are pleased to be working alongside a Cheshire based primary school for their Year 4 teacher starting as soon as possible on a long term basis.

Working within an Outstanding school with an excellent local reputation, this role is within a delightful class, and is suited to a teacher who can demonstrate a creative and inclusive approach to teaching that will appeal to children across the ability range.

Based within a small class, this school takes pride in offering the highest standards of education, together with an creative environment where the children can thrive! Making the most out of the most current technology available for the classroom, this opportunity will present the successful teacher with the potential to deliver cross curricular, innovative and diverse range of lessons.

This position is welcoming applications both from NQTs and experienced teachers. Only candidates who hold PGCE in Primary Education or equivalent will be able to be considered.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Teach all areas of the school curriculum

• Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment

• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges

• Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation

• Maintain discipline

• Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development

• Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area

• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum

• Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

All teachers must have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant classroom experience

• Hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, which is registered to the Update Service or be willing to complete a new DBS through Education Staffing Partnership

• Ability to provide 2 professional references

• Desire to make a difference and inspire
