EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Morecambe
  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: From £13.43 per hour
  • Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with the Reception class. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and continuous provision, and how it can enhance learning. If you are proactive, flexible, adaptable, and hardworking, we would love to hear from you.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the Reception class.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of activities that promote continuous provision.
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to implement educational activities and monitor student progress.
  • Engage with children to facilitate learning and development through play and structured activities.
  • Adapt to the varying needs of the children and the classroom environment.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating educational setting for the children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is essential.
  • Good understanding of continuous provision and its impact on learning.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative within the classroom setting.
  • Knowledge of the Read, Write, Inc phonics scheme is desirable 
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the children and the school.
  • Hardworking and committed to the role
