Teaching Assistant- Orpington

We are seeking Full-Time or Part-Time Teaching Assistants eager to work in KS1 and 2 and be a positive role model for learning and everyday interactions for children.

Being a Teaching Assistant is an incredibly rewarding role where you will really make an impact on the lives of children at an important stage of their education journey and personal development.

Life as a Teaching Assistant is varied, meaningful, challenging, and FUN!

You don't need any qualifications or experience to be a Teaching Assistant, although this is desirable. We look for passion, enthusiasm, and commitment!

As a Supply Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will be:

  • Support teacher with teaching and learning
  • Have a good understanding of Mathematics and English
  • Manage and support classroom tasks
  • Positive behaviour management

Information on Primary Teaching Assistant role:

  • Location- Orpington and surrounding villages
  • Pay- £78 per day (rising to £85 with National Living Wage in April)
  • Hours- 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday Full-Time or Part-Time. You choose the days you work.
  • Year- Key Stage 1 and 2
