Teaching Assistant - Leeds - Primary Schools

Reed Education is working in partnership with a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in Leeds to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants for short-term positions in primary schools across the city. You will have the opportunity to work in different locations and support students in their learning journey. Our goal is to find candidates who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing the classroom for each session in collaboration with the class teacher
- Providing extra support to children as needed
- Assisting teachers in planning and record-keeping
- Supporting teachers in managing class behavior
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be patient and able to build strong working relationships with children
- Have an empathetic nature
- Be approachable, kind, and caring towards all children
- Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding in a school setting
- Have experience working with special needs
- Have strong behavior management skills
