Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Primary Teaching Assistant, providing 1:1 support for an SEN child. This role offers the flexibility of supply work, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on a child's education.

Job Description:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child with SEN, providing dedicated 1:1 support to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking flexibility in their work schedule while making a real difference in the life of a student with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer tailored support to a specific child with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to address the child's unique needs.
  • Provide regular feedback on the child's progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Flexibility to work on a supply basis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEN (desirable).
