A lovely one-form entry Catholic Primary school in Dagenham are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to take over their year 6 class for the last part of the summer term

The Role

In this role you will be taking over as the class teacher for the year 6 class after the SATS exams in May. The class is currently being taught by a member of the senior leadership team to ensure continuity until the national assessments. After that the school are looking for a teacher to support the class as they complete their primary schooling and prepare for secondary school.

You will work alongside the senior leadership team to plan and develop lessons and activities for the last part of the year. Alongside class teaching there will be a range of events for class including assemblies and performances so experience in this area would be beneficial although not essential. 

The school are open to applications from both experienced primary teachers and ECTs with experience in Key stage 2.

This role is offered on a short-term contract basis from 20th May to 23rd July 2024 but there is the possibility of continuing within the Multi-Academy trust in September.
