Randstad Education is looking for a dynamic and flexible Primary Teacher in Sheffield, with previous experience teaching KS1 or KS2 classes, and strong curriculum knowledge to support schools and Academies in South Yorkshire on a regular supply basis. We are looking for a Primary Teacher who can use their initiative to support the classroom, is confident across year groups and is flexible with travel across Sheffield.

the responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lesson plans set by the class teacher.
  • Meet the daily objectives and targets set by the class teacher.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Apply a variety of teaching techniques to support all students' learning needs.
  • Building rapport with your students, teachers and support staff.
  • Working collaboratively with other colleagues in the school to coordinate lessons.

the requirements:

  • (Must) Hold QTS qualification or equivalent.
  • (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
  • Previous experience teaching KS1/ KS2.
  • A passion for teaching!
  • An understanding of safeguarding policies.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
