Primary Teacher KS1

Hays Recruitment are working in partnership with a primary school in the heart of Runcorn town as they require a motivated and experienced KS1 Teacher for the Year 2 class. This school is ideally looking for an experienced Teacher but will consider those with ECT status. This is a long-term full-time role that will last until at least the summer and will more than likely be extended to next academic year.

Your new role
Your new role will include all aspects of lesson planning and preparation. You will deliver it to Year 2 pupils and follow the values and standards of the school. You will be engaging in and monitoring behaviour management in a variety of ways by incorporating a myriad of Behaviour for Learning methods. You will be ensuring pupil engagement and differentiating material to suit attainment needs. You will be required to collaborate with other staff members and teaching assistants to boost student engagement.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK and referenceable experience working within a school as a KS1 Teacher, as well as:

• Experience planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• The ability to support students with their social and emotional development
