Are you a qualified teacher who is looking to do undertake few days a week of supply teaching on an ad-hoc basis? Then REED Education is looking for you.

We are currently looking for qualified teachers who would be willing to a few days a week on a flexible basis.

We are looking for candidates who are familiar with the classroom and would be confident in leading a class in the absence of the class teacher.

We are recruiting for supply teachers for a number of schools based in and around Cheshire and we will work with the candidate to accommodate your requirements.

The successful candidate will have.

  • QTS
  • Have experience of teaching Ks1 and/or KS2.
  • Have an understanding of the National Curriculm.
  • Have an understanding of working with pupils with additional needs.
  • Have a proven track record of strong classroom management.
  • Be someone who can use their own initiative, be friendly with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have experience of planning and assessments.
  • Be able to set clear boundaries and set high expectations.
  • Have experience of working with EAL students and being able to adapt lessons to they can access the same standard of learning as their peers.
  • Be able to adapt to differing surroundings.
  • Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to £38 for a new check to be done.
