Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SENCo to fulfil a permanent, part time role within a primary school located in Andover.

The school is a small primary school, who are aiming to move forward working as a team to improve outcomes for children, whilst having fun along the way! They are currently forming a new team for September along with a new curriculum putting learning within the local area and with creative, rich experiences to enrich the children’s learning journey.

As the SENCo, you will work with experienced LSA’s and a team that are keen to provide the best experience possible for children within the school. You will have no teaching commitment, and will have an opportunity to have a significant impact on shaping the future of their SEN provision, ensuring that pupils with additional needs are met appropriately.

The salary for this role is currently set at £33,814 to £44,870 per annum (pro rata- FTE) in line with the Teacher Pay Scale, and is set to start in September 2024. This is a part time, permanent role – one day per week.

For this role, you will be/will need:

- Degree with relevant subject specialism and Qualified Teacher Status

- Proven teaching experience with either KS1/2 or both

- A desire to be part of a school which is committed to developing learning approaches, and delivering high quality teaching

- The ability to lead from the front

- Evidence of high quality SEN provision which leads to children making good progress
