Reed Education Plymouth is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants. This is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners by providing tailored support and fostering an environment where all students can succeed. We are constantly being asked by schools for Teaching Assistants to provide 1-2-1 support for pupils in Mainstream Primary Schools across Plymouth.

Day to Day of the role:

• Provide 1-2-1 support to pupils with SEN in mainstream primary schools, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
• Utilise your knowledge of the national curriculum to support and enhance the learning experience for SEN pupils.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to nurture positive behaviour and a supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic support system for pupils.
