Are you a qualified teacher looking for work in a primary school environment? Do you live in Derby or Derbyshire?

Claire's School Solutions are currently recruiting for more supply teachers across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) to join our lovely team and support our local Derby and Derbyshire primary schools. We offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles in part-time and full-time employment.

As a supply teacher, you will be required to arrive in school at 8:15am and will be expected to adhere to school policies and follow the school's behaviour strategies. You must also have a good knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to build solid relationships with the pupils.

It is essential to have:

  • A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Previous UK experience working in a primary education environment.
  • Have an understanding of safeguarding.
  • A passion for working and supporting children's learning.
  • Have a positive impact on pupil's progress.
  • Commitment to development of all pupils.

Skills:

  • Excellent listening skills.
  • An ability to engage children in stimulating lessons.
  • To be resilient and able to take regular responsibility for agreed learning.
  • Able to adapt to different working environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
