Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join our team for a full-year maternity cover position starting in the new academic year 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 2 students and ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 students
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required
• Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students is desirable but not essential
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
