Your new school:You will work in a local authority school in Caerphilly. A school with more than 100 students, ages 3 to 7. You'll work in a stimulating, compassionate, and supportive atmosphere. The entire team collaborates to provide a consistent approach to behaviour control that upholds the school's good culture and positively affects students' well-being.
Your new role (KS2)You will work as part of the schools' KS2 classes and will be responsible for delivering, engaging and dynamic lessons to KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum, full time, five days per week. Your role will include preparing lesson plans and materials that accommodate different learning styles and ability. You will be responsible to assess and record students' progress and provide feedback. Your responsible to foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
What you will need to succeed: You will typically need a bachelor's degree in education or a degree in a relevant subject along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), holding a valid QTS. You will have a passion for teaching and commitment to educating young minds. You will have strong knowledge of the national curriculum. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You can carry out creative lesson planning skills that cater to different learning styles. Your character shows being patient, adaptable and caring. You have the ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment. You have commitment to ongoing professional development. You have a commitment to child safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
