I am seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher for maternity cover in one of my lovely schools in Doncaster, who will be responsible for teaching Years 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience with planning responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a vibrant school environment.

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning for Years 3 and 4.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Assess and record children’s progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
• Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning.
• Guide and monitor children’s development and wellbeing.
• Take on some of the planning responsibilities and contribute to the wider school curriculum.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
