About this role

I work on behalf of a group of schools that are based in Thame, Oxfordshire that are looking for a SEN Learning Support Mentor to join their school. These schools want all students to feel equal within their classes, so they need a Learning Support Mentor that can help achieve this.

These schools are determined that they will continue to be a nurturing environment to learn and work in. They are looking for Learning Support Mentors that are adaptable, kind and uplifting. This role will be challenging, so you need to uphold a positive mindset each day.

This job requires 5 GCSEs (including math and English), experience working/ volunteering with children is required and a drive to maintain the great quality of the school’s education and atmosphere. SEN experience is not required, but is heavily desirable.

This role will include:

  • Preparing learning materials

  • Adapt support to each students needs

  • Create an inclusive environment for students

  • Look after students physical and emotional welfare

  • Work in 1:1 and group settings
