REED Education seeking a highly motivated and organised School Administrator to join our team at a Cheshire based Academy school. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, on an ongoing basis permanent basis.



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the school, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all administrative processes. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, has excellent organisational skills and is able to work well under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date pupil records, including attendance and admissions

Assisting with financial management, including processing payments and managing petty cash

Responding to queries from parents, staff and external agencies

Supporting the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings and maintaining calendars

General office duties, such as answering the phone, filing and photocopying

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a school or educational setting is desirable

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages

Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

As the first point of contact for the school, all applicants must be professional, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good customer service.

Our clients are seeking individuals with experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS). Previous experience working in a school office, collating dinner money and logging pupil attendance and lateness is highly desirable. Applicants without this experience will be considered, but must be able to demonstrate a background working within Administration or Receptionist roles with transferable skills.
