Primary ECT – Hodge Hill

*** Permanent role, undertaking full teaching responsibilities
*** Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school in the Birmingham ward of Hodge Hill
*** Primary ECT position, starting September 2024
*** £30,000 per annum

The Primary ECT Role:
As a Primary ECT, you will be teaching a Key Stage 2 class in all subjects following the national curriculum. This is a full-time role, and you will undertake all teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessments, as well as engaging in wider-school activities such as trips, assemblies, and break/lunch supervision. You will work alongside other teaching staff to deliver a diverse curriculum that excites and engages the pupils. As a Primary ECT, it is important that you uphold school values and engage in all aspects of school life.

The Primary ECT:
For this Primary ECT role, you must have recently gained QTS and are looking to complete your induction, or be due to finish your PGCE this academic year with the view of gaining Qualified Teacher Status before September 2024. The school are looking for a Primary ECT who can demonstrate strong references from their University supervisor and placements to ensure you have strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills, as well as a passion for providing a high-quality education to the children you teach.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school located in East Birmingham caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with a mixed intake. The leadership team is fantastic and provides frequent training to further your professional development as a Primary ECT.
