An outstanding new opportunity has arisen as a Pricing and Promotions Analyst. This is an integral role with the Commercial Finance team offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and hybrid working options.

As a Pricing & Promotions Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the analytics that shape strategy for customers. You will be responsible for analysing and reporting on pricing and promotional decisions, using commercial and market data to produce actionable insight, and delivering recommendations to the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake analysis using commercial and market data to develop an understanding of pricing and promotional competitiveness and make recommendations
  • Support ad-hoc projects involving customer and commercial analysis of strategic value initiatives
  • Create and launch tools and reports that further the understanding of pricing and promotions including creating financial models
  • Work collaboratively with commercial teams around the business and support in sessions on pricing and promotions best practice

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an analytical role, preferably for 1+ years, and comfortable working through analytical problems.
  • Ability to drive projects forward with keen attention to detail
  • Experience in presenting analytics-driven output to wide-ranging audiences in a clear and logical way
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong commercial mindset and enjoys problem-solving to uncover actionable insight
