Youth Prevention Worker Vacancy to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following available position.

Position:          Prevention Worker

Location:         Leeds

Rate:                £13.00-13.50 p/hour PAYE including holiday pay                    

Length:            4 Weeks covering Sickness

Hours:              37.5 hours p/week Mon-Fri 9-5

The role will predominantly involve:

• Managing a caseload of young people (16–25-year-olds) and signposting clients to relevant agencies
• Supporting young people seek emergency accommodation
• Communicating with other agencies/services including social services and Universal Credit
• Building relationships with young people and assist them using a “Stay Put Approach”
• Updating risk assessments and support plans

The successful candidate must have an Enhanced DBS and be available to start from next week
