  • Salary: Scale 9, Spinal Column Point 38-41, £46,464 - £49,498
  • Working Arrangements: 36.25 hours per week, a flexitime scheme is in operation

It is essential that candidates hold a professional and/or academic qualification or equivalent or substantial vocational experience, plus experience of working in partnership, a knowledge of safeguarding and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

The role is to provide leadership to a proactive and forward-thinking Prevention Department in the delivery of prevention activity directed at the most vulnerable sections of our community through thematic themes: Start Safe, Live Safe, Age Safe, Road Safety, Water Safety, Mental Health. The successful candidate will also be the designated safeguarding lead for the Service and be required to represent the Service at National Forums.
