Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Parkside Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and fully qualified Press Tool Maker to join our client's growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop press tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on existing press tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilise precision machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate and modify tool components.
  • Conduct inspections on finished press tools to verify conformance to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to address tooling-related issues and optimise manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified and apprentice-trained Press Tool Maker.
  • Proven experience in metal stamping processes.
  • Proficient in precision machining techniques.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tool design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Salary: £25,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
