Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Caerphilly
Salary: £11.50 per hour to £13.35 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm

Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Press Brake Operator to work for a company based in Caerphilly on a Temp to Perm contract.

Main Job Roles:

  • Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
  • Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
  • Bending and shaping mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum etc to customer specific requirements
  • Carrying out tool changes between jobs
  • Measuring and checking dimensions
  • Produce quality parts in a timely fashion
  • Inspecting work for quality
  • Compliance with health & safety and relevant certification
  • Communicate effectively all issues affecting smooth daily operation

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience of press brake operation
  • The ability to understand, interpret and work from drawings
  • Able to work off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail to ensure high quality output
  • An efficient approach to your work, applying lean principles where possible and to ensure deadlines are met
  • Understanding of accreditation and certification standards.
  • Effective clear communicator
  • Other tasks may be required
