Job Title: Press Brake Operative

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £15ph DOE

Metalis are currently in partnership with an established Engineering company in Sheffield. Due to continuous growth, our clients are looking to hire a Press Brake Operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Setup the press brake daily using the correct tooling for each job
  • Operate the press brakes safely
  • Select the correct tooling for each different job
  • Check the machines for any maintenance issues
  • Accurately read technical engineering & folding drawings

Person Specification

  • Punctual
  • Hard working
  • Team player
  • Available for overtime during busy periods
  • Able to read engineering drawings

Shifts and Salary:

  • Days only, Monday - Friday
  • Regular overtime
  • 40 hours week with opportunities for overtime paid at time and a half and double time, respectively.
  • On-site parking is available and free of charge
  • 12 weeks temporary to permanent
