Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.

Permanent position
Competitive Salary + Great holiday allowance and other benefits
Late Shift – 3pn-1am on Monday, and 3pm-12:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Press Brake Operative
Job Specification
  • Operating Press Brake machine
  • Forming of sheet metal components in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Read engineering drawings to the level required for machine set up and operation
  • Set up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Measurement of components for conformity
  • Complete Press brake operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience operating Press Brake machines
  • Have worked with sheet metal no thicker than 5MM (and to tight tolerances)
  • Able to read an engineering drawing/job cards

  • Shift allowance per shift
  • Standard annual leave is 218.5 hours (inclusive of 8 stat bank holidays) for the first year of employment. This increases to 259.75 per holiday year after one year’s service
