We are on the lookout for a Press Brake Operator for our well-established client based in Banbury. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with no weekends and free onsite parking. The salary is between 324,000 and 326,000 per annum.
Our client is renowned for food transportation systems which have been developed alongside caterers over many years. They have broadened their offering to include servery counters, mobile serveries, and general fabrication such as sinks, tabling, wall cupboards and range of static and mobile hot food trolleys.
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:
. Operating metal-forming presses, shaping, cutting, and stamping metal components.
. Controlling machines - adjusting speed, pressure, and temperature.
. Checking the quality of the finished products.
. Able to do adjustments to machine settings and maintaining if necessary.
. Able to read engineering drawings and blueprints and turn them into reality, decoding specifications, and tolerances.
. Following instructions for each job.
. Ensuring the machines are operating at peak performance.
. Follow safety guidelines, using required PPE.
. Able to communicate effectively, addressing issues to other team members.
. Able to complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
