Premium Technician
About the Role
A dynamic global Lloyd’s Broker has an opportunity for someone to join their team as a Premium Technician.
Our client is highly regarded in the market for its ability to promote from within, offer outstanding training and development and give employees the platform to progress.
Your Responsibilities
- Processing and producing premium and risk bordereaux and submitting to the IMR
- Cash and delinked premium submissions to Xchanging via the IMR
- Advising on relevant taxes to be used and production of tax schedules
- Providing technical advice and assistance to Brokers and Account Executives when necessary
- Create and maintain files
- Process and monitor incoming post/emails
- Produce and forward documentation to Lloyd’s/Lirma market via A&S
- Sending closing to Company Markets
- Assess and process premium movements
- Diary for quarterly and yearly adjustments if required
- Lors entries
- Complete premium payment warranty calendar entries
- Processing of bordereaux
- Obtain agreement to premium bordereaux, where required
- Deal with market and/or client queries and liaise with the accounts department to ensure prompt payment of balances
- Maintain statistical data
Key Skills & Experiences
Our Client is looking for someone with experience of the technical process (insurance, reinsurance or binders) essential. Knowledge of multiple territories preferred. They are seeking someone who is a good communicator with wide ranging technical knowledge who can contribute to the team effectively with a good work ethic.
Working Pattern
Full Time - 2 days office based in London plus remote home working
Salary
£35,000 - £38,000 plus excellent benefits
