 Parkside Recruitment we are looking for a skilled and experienced Precision Fine Limit Metal Worker.

Job Description:
 As a Precision Fine Limit Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling precision metal components using a variety of metalworking techniques. You will work with various metals, such as aluminium, steel, and titanium, to produce components that meet tight tolerance specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the manufacturing processes required for each component.
  • Set up and operate CNC machining centres, lathes, and other precision machining equipment.
  • Perform precision machining operations, including drilling, milling, turning, and grinding, to produce high-quality components.
  • Use precision measurement tools, such as micrometres, callipers, and gauges, to ensure components meet tight tolerance specifications.
  • Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and design teams to optimise manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in precision metalworking, with a strong focus on fine limit machining techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with CNC machining equipment, including setup, operation, and programming.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of metal properties and characteristics.
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
