Job Description:

Recruit UK are proud to be working with an Independent Financial Planning firm in Birmingham on a Practice Manager role. The client always takes a holistic approach to financial advice and always strive to provide their clients with the best possible experience and service. They really do have their client’s best interests at the forefront of what they do.

Due to continuous growth and success, they are now in a position to take on a new member to the team. They are looking for someone ideally with exposure to advice support, ideally management of staff as well with an understanding of paraplanning or compliance where possible. They are ideally looking for someone who has a strong background in wealth management. This roles focus will be on implementing processes and new changes, project management and supporting the existing adviser where needed in various tasks.

Duties will include:

• General office and business administration to ensure smooth running of office
• Managing the team
• Report writing
• Compliance duties
• Overseeing financial duties including financial statements and forecasts
• Ensuring practice is operating in line with FCA regulations
• Marketing duties
• Onboarding
• Providing on going training to employees

Skills and experience required:

• At least 3 years experience working within a wealth management firm
• Strong knowledge of Financial Planning regulations
• Previous experience managing a team
• Marketing experience desirable
• Ability to multitask
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience working with products and platforms
