Practice Manager

Role Overview:
They are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic Practice Manager with a background of working in holistic financial planning. In this role, you will oversee a team of Paraplanners and Administrators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research and recommendation reports. The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in driving team performance, promoting best practices, and maintaining excellent client service standards. The role could suit an experienced IFA Administrator or Paraplanner with some managerial/mentoring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor team activity and coordinate workload using our Monday.Com workflow system.
- Manage SLAs and prioritize workload allocation to ensure timely service delivery.
- Liaise with outsourced providers to ensure end-to-end support for Financial Planners.
- Promote best practices among team members and identify training needs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and meet SLAs.
- Maintain accurate client records and provide technical support as needed.
- Liaise with clients and providers while ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.
- Undertake paraplanning work as required to support Financial Planning recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 4 Diploma Qualified (desired).
- 3+ years experience as a Paraplanner/Senior Administrator within a financial planning environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Working knowledge of protection, investments, pensions, and pensions transfers.
Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and workload management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and CRM systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within a Quilter/Intrinsic AR.
- Familiarity with specific systems like Quilter, Aegon, Voyant, MICAP, and Monday.Com.
