TPF Recruitment is proud to support our client located in Brighton with their current need for a Bookkeeper. This role is pivotal in staying on top of our clients' bookkeeping and monthly management accounts, ensuring a healthy cash flow for their business while identifying financial trends early on. We provide a fast, cost-effective, and reliable service tailored to suit business needs.

What the Role Would Include:

  • Bookkeeping, bank statements, ledger reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the initial preparation of tax returns, VAT & management accounts.
  • General financial administration on behalf of the clients.
  • Development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes.
  • Introduction of cloud tools.
  • Learning new software as it becomes available.
  • Working as part of the bookkeeping & management team.
  • Visits to clients' offices.



Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis.
  • Knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment, and Corporate Tax.
  • Knowledge/experience of cloud tools (e.g., Receipt Bank).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Confidence to speak to clients face to face.
  • Flexibility regarding working location.
  • Professional competence.
  • A working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage.
