Our client is based in the heart of East Lancashire and they are looking to add to their current team in this newly created role with an Practice Accountant. The business is a small but reputable accountancy practice and they have strong plans to grow and develop their offering and reach with clients across Lancashire.

The role of Practice Accountant will involve: -

  • Responsible for preparation of LTD company accounts at year end and quarterly/monthly management accounts

  • Complete some sole trader, partnership, and rental accounts

  • Complete corporation Tax/VAT returns

  • Build effective client relationships and manage customer expectations

  • Providing guidance for other team members who are looking to grow their experience in accountancy

  • Responsible for the billing of the clients and providing a wider understanding of revenue targets

The successful candidate will already have gained a solid background in some of the following experiences: -

  • Preferably AAT level 4 experience

  • Solid knowledge of cloud-based accounting packages, XERO/QuickBooks

  • Knowledge of accounting principles such as employment implications/FRS102/VAT

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
