PR & External Affairs Manager

We are delighted to be supporting Aberdein Considine as they look to bring in a PR & External Affairs Manager. As a firm, they have a principle aim to deliver the best possible service to their clients, and have a positive impact on their lives. This role will help to tell those stories!

We're looking for...

• Excellent PR & content experience - you'll have a track record of ensuring high quality coverage with high quality content
• Experience gained within PR agency setting or client-side (ideally within a regulated environment)
• Strong stakeholder management experience - you'll be comfortable working with colleagues at all levels
• A great understanding of media and needs and stories that will drive a news agenda
• Great organisational skills, used to working to deadlines

You will be...

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive communications & PR strategy
• Building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts
• Creating and distributing compelling press releases
• Managing external agency relationships
• Working with key Partners across the business to identify and produce timely, topical content
• Manage crisis communications and reputational management initiatives
• Coming up with ideas for themes and content
