Company Overview:

Our client is a pioneering global FinTech firm operating within the technology & finance in Central London.

They are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and proactive Public Relations Executive to join their eclectic London office team. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating awareness surrounding the client's brand across our target markets, in line with our product launches, marketing initiatives, and weekly activities.

This role presents a distinctive opportunity to solidify our client's brand as a frontrunner in the FinTech sector by promoting their platform and app in key global markets such as the UK, Europe, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will need over 3 years of experience working in Media, Public Relations, or a comparable Influencer Marketing role, with a proven track record of collaborating with agencies and partners.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Formulating PR Strategy: Strategize, execute, and oversee public relations efforts in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Outreach & Media Networking: Cultivate and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with journalists and influencers, facilitating interviews, and garnering broader media interest in our client's products and forthcoming releases.
  • Brand Communication: Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment of PR strategy with our client's brand essence and guidelines, encompassing tone, messaging, and imagery. Identify and evaluate opportunities for our client to engage and publicly respond to real-world events covered by the media.
  • Heightening Brand Awareness: Conduct ongoing research to identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities for our client.
  • PR Reporting: Define KPIs for PR strategy, assess the performance of each marketing endeavor and event, and furnish reports on PR accomplishments and campaigns.
  • Media Distribution: Utilize diverse channels, with a focus on social media and traditional outreach, to maximize campaign reach and efficacy. Handle inquiries from the public, press, and affiliated organizations.
  • External Communications: Oversee external communications with partners and agencies, particularly concerning major campaigns outlined in our client's roadmap with multifaceted components and touchpoints.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a brand ambassador for our client both internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in copywriting, with emphasis on crafting media pitches, press releases, media kits, and supporting materials.
  • Profound understanding of the media landscape within financial services and beyond, including proficiency in assessing traditional and digital media opportunities using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional proofreading and copy-editing abilities, coupled with a knack for storytelling.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a penchant for continuous learning.
  • Experience working across various industries and markets, whether in-house or within an agency setting.
