Junior Management Accountant

£40,000 + Full Study Support

Stevenage

A key position in the finance team working alongside the FP&A Manager to provide full financial reporting and analysis to the Senior Management team.

This role would be suitable for someone seeking their next step in their accountancy career and eager to continue their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production and delivery of monthly management accounts and commentary packs
  • Substantiate and prepare WIP/Deferred Income/Accruals/Prepayments journals
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Reconcile balance Sheet Accounts
  • Provide Year End Audit support to the Management Accountant & Finance Managers
  • Monitor current project spend, ensuring all actual costs and revenues are updated to reflect the financials
  • Conduct regular WIP and debt reviews, ensuring debtors are paying to terms and help resolve issues
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and any other reasonable duties assigned by the business

Requirements:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 2-3 years’ experience of working in a finance function within a corporate environment
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills/analytical/systems skills
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to support others

The ideal candidate for this Junior Management Accountant opportunity will be a trainee accountant, management accountant who has a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Salary £40,000 + Full Study support - Work from Home 2/3 days per week
