A small one-form entry Catholic Primary school in Dagenham are looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to join their school for the summer term to provide PPA across the school.

The Role

In this role you will be covering classes from Reception to Year 6 to provide class teachers cover for planning preparation and assessment. You will work alongside the class teacher to arrange what is required for each lesson. For the most part the planning will be provided, although you may have some input in certain classes/subjects. You should have experience teaching across all primary year groups and have good curriculum knowledge and a positive approach to classroom management.

You will have a timetabled week but you will need to be flexible and adaptable to cover absences or changes at the last minute across the whole school.

This role is offered on a contract basis from April 2024 to July 2024 initially but has the possibility of continuing within the Multi-Academy trust in September.

This welcoming Catholic primary school part of a larger Catholic Multi-Academy Trust which has schools across Barking, Dagenham and Redbridge. As a one-form-entry school the school has a family feel and staff work closely to support each other. There is a strong Catholic ethos which is incorporated in to all areas of school life to encourage children’s spiritual development alongside their learning. There is good support from the experienced leadership team in place at the school and excellent professional development opportunities both within the school and across the wider Multi-Academy Trust.
