Programme Mission
The programme's core objective is to mould learners into adept analysts equipped with a solid grasp of analytical principles. Participants are encouraged to leverage the comprehensive capabilities of Power BI, thus enhancing their decision-making, problem-solving, and data visualisation acumen in the context of today's data-centric job landscape. Over a span of 16 weeks, the programme accentuates critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills, setting learners on the path to successful careers in data-driven decision-making roles across various sectors.

  4. Delve into data visualisation principles and the selection of appropriate visuals for varying data sets to enable impactful business visualisations.
  5. Navigate the complete report development process in Power BI, from data connection and modelling to visualisation creation.

Tutor Engagement & Requirements

Active Tutoring Commitments:

  • Lead live online sessions for 16 weeks, one day per week, utilising Zoom and Moodle.
  • Conduct 1-1 sessions with learners at pivotal programme junctures.
  • Offer consistent remote support through email and Moodle.
  • Design and deliver live lessons aligned with weekly learning objectives.
  • Assign supplementary activities for comprehensive learning.
  • Track and support learner progress across all learning formats.
  • Evaluate assessments and offer constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the programme team to support and intervene for learners as needed.
  • Participate in CPD sessions and relevant meetings.
  • Assigning additional learning activities from our asynchronous learning platform to provide revision, stretch and challenge opportunities
  • Monitoring learner progress in synchronous and asynchronous learning

Prerequisites for Tutors:

  • Proficiency in contemporary teaching methodologies and assessment tactics.
  • Holder of the Microsoft PL-300 certification or equivalent.
  • Practical experience with Power BI and other data analysis tools in a professional setting.
