Portfolio Executive
The role of the Portfolio Executive is client focused, supporting, and assisting a range of UK based SME businesses, typically asset secured with short to medium term facilities ranging from £50K to £5m. It is the Portfolio Executives responsibility to provide client support across all aspects of the client relationship, delivering excellent customer service, responding to, and dealing with a wide range of queries.
The Role Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Supporting Relationship Managers client portfolio in all aspects of the client journey and experience
- Managing client files on the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Assisting in the chasing and collation of client documentation both in the onboarding journey and during the client lifetime
- Preparing and completing client files to support client reviews for increase, extension or preparing for exit of facilities
- Assisting in the delivery of new clients, liaising with multiple stakeholders, whether internal (finance, sales) or external (Solicitors, Accountants, Introducers)
- Monitoring and providing supportive oversight for management of risk, including preparation of reviews, chasing and some analysis of information (e.g., financial, and general compliance with the terms of the client facility), contribute to debate on potential client strategies, and escalating concerns as necessary in client conduct.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role
- Liaising with the wider team to maintain operational efficiency and promote best practise thinking

- Strong communication skills
Financial experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
