Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Research and development of microplastic free & water dispersible polymers.
  • Research and development of dispersion techniques for graphene into polymers.
  • Performance optimisation of current biodegradable polymers and adhesives.
  • Design and validate new testing protocols for consumer packaging products.
  • Documentation and interpretation of experiments.
  • Project management, risk assessments and budgeting.
  • Maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment.

Expected Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Educated to PhD standard in a relevant subject, chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemical, materials science or nanomaterials engineering.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Driving licence required due to office location.
