Our client is seeking an experienced Polymer Chemist/Engineer to join their team of talented Engineers and Materials Scientists. The successful candidate will possess a good working knowledge of synthetic polymer chemistry, including solution polymerization and emulsion techniques. Additionally, the polymer chemist/Eng. will demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, and lead testing based on previous experience.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • BSc or MSc degree in polymer chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline, with 1-2 years of industry or academic experience.
  • Proficiency in handling chemicals safely and implementing proper disposal methods.
  • Experience in experimental design and proficient data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with GC-TCD/FID, UV-Vis-NIR, and wet laboratory techniques.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude and proficient in Microsoft Visio.
  • Ability to plan both short and long-term development programs and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills and Traits:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common goal.

Effective communication with all levels of management and strong planning abilities.
