Equifind are supporting a Global Insurance firm based in London City, by Bank Station who are hiring a Policy Wordings Specialist. You will join a tight knit team, a real all round position, with scope to grow. The role is full time and of a 3 and 2 hybrid nature but they also might consider a part time (4 days) option.

The Role

  • The Policy Wordings Specialist for this Insurance company in London will carry out the following duties:
  • Provide technical support and advice to Underwriters, Claims Adjustors, the Legal Department and Brokers.
  • Review slip documents and produce electronic reports highlighting issues for consideration by Underwriters and management.
  • Review policy wordings and assist in the negotiation of wording revisions with brokers.
  • Assist in the production and on-going review of the firms own wordings and clauses.
  • Develop market network to obtain knowledge of market trends and developments and advise management and colleagues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate across the group and act as an effective ambassador for the firm
  • Ad-hoc tasks relating to operational processes.

Requirements

  • Ideally experience in the Insurance market with insurance policy wordings
  • Insurance qualification or progression towards (Dip CII/ACII)
  • Attention to detail
  • Organised and a problem solver
  • Positive and proactive nature
  • Ability to deal with senior stakeholders
