A position has arisen for a dedicated Podiatrist who is interested in clinical lecturing and professional development in learning and teaching. The full-time permanent post includes the funding of a post-graduate training in higher education teaching with a view to further post-graduate study in a field related to the profession. There will be mentoring in the role from an experienced Podiatry lecturer.

The role is primarily clinic based involved with the teaching of students on their clinical practical, as well as to help the Clinical Services Manager to co-ordinate the smooth running of a busy 9-chair clinic. The role also involves an element of supporting students during the pre-clinical stage of their studies. There is scope for the role to include the treatment of your own patient case load in terms of biomechanics and nail surgery, and to be actively involved in the formation and delivery of CPD subjects for both students and members of The Institute.
