Our client, is one of the fastest growing retailers with a network of stores across the UK and Europe. They are currently recruiting for a PMO / Project Manager paying up to £80,000 to lead the build, installation and commissioning of a new national distribution centre based within the Midlands

Reporting directly to their Supply Chain Director successful candidates will be responsible for delivering this large-scale warehouse automation project on time and within budget.

On a day to day basis as a PMO / Project Manager your key tasks will be:

  • Working with stakeholders across the group to deliver the project against pre-agreed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Leading, developing and training your team.
  • Identifying risks & issues to develop solutions that deliver the project.
  • Undertaking analysis of the project and programme data to identify trends and inform business planning.
  • Driving efficiencies across the project programme.
  • Working closely with this retailers’ partners and monitoring their performance.
  • Managing the Capex budget through to project delivery.
  • Strategically leading the project
  • Regularly reviewing compliance and ensuring corporate governance

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

  • Successfully worked as a PMO Manager or Project Manager delivering similar large-scale projects within the UK
  • Be Degree Qualified (or similar level)
  • Have a relevant Project Management qualification ideally with Prince2
