Plumber

We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team on a contract basis, focused on repairs and maintenance of domestic properties based around the South Shields area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents have access to safe and reliable plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks in domestic properties.
• Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Liaising with residents to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or queries.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally in a similar role.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent within Plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, techniques, and tools.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Asbestos awareness.
• Manual handling.
• Working at heights.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
