Randstad Construction & Property are working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Plumber to join their team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance.

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: Competitive (up to £36,000 depending on experience)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday

An average day will include the following:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or damaged pipes.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and provide accurate estimates for repairs or installations.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
  • Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in installing and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
