Job Title: PLC Engineer

Location: North Kent

Salary: £70,000

Monday – Friday

Are you looking to take the next step in your PLC engineering career? Or looking to work for a reputable company long term?

Do you have experience working with diesel engines or standby generators and would like to further progress your knowledge?

We are looking for someone experienced in Diesel Engineering (Rockwell & Ignition) to join a rapidly expanding company on the Kent / London border as a PLC Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialised area of the construction sector and learn some niche skills.

Duties include:

  • Commissioning of control systems
  • Putting in place PLC applications for different control systems projects
  • Problem solving / trouble shooting and programming of PLC / SCADA systems.
  • Project manage the commissioning of control systems within data centres/ power generation systems

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience as a Controls Engineer
  • Knowledge of PLC / SCADA
  • Experienced in generator automation commissioning and development.
  • Electrical or Automation HNC or Degree level.
