Platen Press Operator - POS / Print

Location: Cheshunt - North London - Easily accessible via M25

Salary: DOE

Company: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets.

Role: Responsible for setting up and running platens to produce finished materials.

• Handling of large cutting forms and various types of materials
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Setting and operating platen machines
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Complete daily machine checks sheets and any faults are to be advised to your supervisor,
• Always follow the Quality Control process and perform random quality checks to ensure consistency,
• Take responsibility to report any issues or unsafe working practices and follow the correct procedures

Requirements:

• Experience operating hand fed platens up to 3 x 1.8
• Worked with all materials particularly in POS
• You will understand Health and Safety practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Proven experience of working in a manufacturing surrounding
