This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity for an ambitious Plant Technician to work with one of the leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturers in the UK. This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, Monday to Friday.

The Plant Technician will be responsible for:
  • The Plant Technician will be efficient, safe and quality controlled with all production of manufacturing process.
  • Carry out first line maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Complete basic testing and quality control.
  • Ensuring that the movement of goods is completed in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Safe disposal of waste goods including non-explosive and explosive items.
  • Work towards all health and safety regulations
The Plant Technician will need to have: 
  • Experience in either a hazardous manufacturing or hazardous maintenance environment
  • Experience working at a COMAH Site is an essential.
  • Working towards safety standards
  • Computer literate
  • Driving license
