SUEZ is seeking a visionary Plant Manager to lead our state-of-the-art Energy Recovery facility. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to shape the future of Energy Recovery and contribute to a circular economy.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and manage a team of skilled professionals at our Energy Recovery facility.
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient and safe energy production from a resource.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes and maximising plant profitability.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Play a key role in exciting, and upcoming projects (e.g designing and implementing a Carbon Capture plant.

Make a real impact: Under your leadership, our EfW facility will transform waste into clean energy, significantly reducing landfill dependence. Your expertise in power generation and process optimization will be instrumental in maximizing efficiency and profitability.

What are the requirements?

  • Proven track record managing a complex power generation facility.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in cost control, P&L management, and capital project execution.
  • Technical expertise in power generation, steam raising, and heat transfer.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Commitment to health & safety (NEBOSH preferred, but we can help you to obtain).
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline is desired. (Mechanical, Process, or Electrical)
  • Passion for continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
