Are you a plant fitter looking for an exciting new opportunity within busy a SME looking for an variable role which offer pay and role progression opportunities and a competitive salary?

This company are well known second generation SME established in 1964. Currently operating with 30 members of staff and eight currently working mobile there is a brilliant variety of longtime employees mixed with young ambitious apprentices. With a close-knit friendly atmosphere they offer an excellent working environment that anyone would be more than happy to work in.

This role would suit an individual with a background in plant machinery dealing with maintenance and fitting of machines such as excavators, dumpers but also power tools, access platforms and forklifts. A suitable candidate with proven experience can expect a varied role which will also include organising risk assessments and other necessary paperwork beyond the physical aspects of the position.

This role would suit a plant fitter looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with potential for overtime and excellent progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Service a variety of heavy and small plant machinery at the workshop
• Travelling to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot breakdowns on customer sites
• Ensure an effective, safe work system by implementing risk assessment and associated paperwork
